In this tough economic climate it is critical for all Beth Chaim members to support each other with potential business or job search related activities. For that purpose, Beth Chaim created the new LinkedIn business networking group.
LinkedIn is a very popular Internet based business networking site (similar to Facebook.com for social networking). By joining the Beth Chaim group on LinkedIn, congregants are joining the virtual Beth Chaim community and enabling each other to find out about our business situation and interests. The Beth Chaim group members can also participate in various on-line Discussions and read interesting News articles posted on our group site.
To find Beth Chaim group, go to www.linkedin.com, create a free account (if you don’t have one already), select Search Groups from the top Search options drop down list, and enter the search text “Beth Chaim – Malvern, PA”. After you find our group, select the option to request to join the group. It is also recommended to create your LinkedIn profile to give other members a general idea of your business and personal interests and activities. As of March 3, there are already over 26 members. New members can check the profiles of those who already joined to get an idea of the various styles and approaches of creating a profile.
