Islamic Society of Chester County
invites you to share the breaking of the fast with your neighborhood American Muslim families at the annual "sharing Ramadan" event.
Each Ramada, the ninth month on the lunar calendar, Muslims fast daily from dawn to sunset for 29 to 30 days. Fasting is a tradition in many religious faiths. This practice increases one's spirituality, discipline, thankfulness and consciousness of God's mercy. Ramadan is also a time of gibing and reaching out to those less fortunate.
