Art Auction

Saturday, November 12 was a night to remember – for fun, food, fellowship and …ART.

Due to the generosity of so many art enthusiasts we were able to raise approximately $4400.  We couldn‘t have done it without the help of a fabulous group of volunteers:

·         Ed Nathan and the BCRC Men‘s Club – Bill Diamondstone, Herb Greenberg, Bob Cort, and Peter Whitman as well as Judy Rosenblatt - for their set up and break down before and after the auction

·         Ed Nathan for providing music for the Cocktail Hour and work sessions

·         Madeline Gardberg and Cathie Josephs for the food and wine tasting – a unique opportunity to taste specialty foods paired with appropriate wines.  They were assisted by Jodi Robertson, Leila Katz-Boyd, Janie Brown, Margo Schleman, Nora Margolis, Beth Gilbert, Patti Diamondstone, Peter Whitman, Andy Baran, Pat Martin, Rich Rubin, Julie Robertson, Nicole Sakowitz, Nancy Dunbar, Bill Pikounis, Deborah Rubin, Hugh Cort and Sarah Rosenblatt

·         Hugh Cort,  Joel Rosenblatt, and Bob Cort who tended bar

·         Lisa Baran, Jody Rosenblatt, Janie Brown and Leila Katz-Boyd for all their help getting everyone registered and selling raffle tickets

·         Sarah Rosenblatt, Danny Holtzer, Andy Baran, Leila Katz-Boyd and Alan Holtzer for walking all the art to the easel

·         Jen and Louella Goldstein for recording sales and cashiering

·         Margaret Cort for aiding in reloading the unsold art

And all of those who purchased art and raffle tickets.  All of you made this event a success.
