A Collective Presence, Voice and Strength of the Women of Beth Chaim
We believe that a woman's affiliation with a temple should provide more than a place for worship and children's religious education. The affiliation should include a personal connection to other women.
We promote social activities, Jewish study, community outreach, Beth Chaim Holiday Celebrations, Tzedakah
Activities focus on friendship, personal growth, spiritual growth, family, health, culture, and the local community
We promote "sharing and caring" among our members who need help or are in a crisis.
The Sisterhood is part of The Women of Reform Judaism, an affiliate of the Union for Reform Judaism.
Meetings take place once a month, generally on Sunday mornings September through May, from 10:15 to 12:15.
All women are welcome to join us for general meetings. We are a friendly, energized group of women, across generations, including moms, grandmas, (many with careers), and single women, at all stages of life.
"One of the best parts of the sisterhood is that it provides a rare chance to relax and chat with other women, away from spouses and children." Sisterhood member
