Life Cycle

Life Cycle

The Beth Chaim Neighborhood comes together to celebrate every life event, from the birth of a child or grandchild to B’Mitzvahs, to celebrating at weddings, and to mourning the loss of a loved one and comforting the bereaved. Please contact Rabbi Pearlman or Robin Resnick to discuss your life cycle event.

WEDDINGS

Beth Chaim’s beautiful sanctuary is ideal for exchanging vows, breaking the glass, and sanctifying your union. In addition, there is an adjacent social hall for the celebration. Rabbi Pearlman will be happy to help you through the process, whether in our home or beyond our walls. Please call if you are interested in renting the social hall and kitchen.

BABY NAMING

Rabbi Pearlman is happy to lead your family through the baby naming ceremony. These are typically private events and can be arranged with Rabbi.

B’ MITZVAH

Beth Chaim’s B’ Mitzvah process is both a celebration and a beginning of interaction with the world as a Jew. Our kids are well prepared, supported, and successfully become leaders of their own services. We have services in-person, on Zoom, and a hybrid model, but with our tutors, Rabbi and congregation, it is a meaningful milestone for our families.

MEMORIAL SERVICES AND FUNERALS

Families and our community join when a loved one passes to remember, commemorate and celebrate life. We work closely with each family to customize the most appropriate and meaningful service. Our members are there for each other, and each Shiva is full of our community.
