A Milestone on the Path of Jewish Learning
B’ Mitzvah is an exciting Jewish life cycle event. Our Education Director, Barbara Rose Weisman, will be overseeing the program in partnership with Rabbi Pearlman.
We are thrilled to have our long-time B’ Mitzvah tutor, Narda Oz, who is back from her well-deserved sabbatical. We are fortunate to have Debbie Seltzer Cohen helping us as well. Of course, Rabbi Pearlman will continue to guide the B’ Mitzvah student and their family down this traditional path towards Jewish adulthood.
We have our B’ Mitzvah classes twice a month on Tuesday evenings from 6:15-8:00. There will still be pizza to kick off the evening and allow for some much important schmooze time. We will practice prayers, discuss the process and meaning of becoming a B’ Mitzvah and share community with others in this same patch of Jewish time.
