History
Beth Chaim Reform Congregation was founded in June of 1992 (5752) by several families whose goal was to establish a synagogue with practices and philosophy consistent with their views of Judaism.
"We needed a place to educate our children. We were also looking for a place where we, as interfaith families, could be comfortable. We believed that we could best meet these needs by starting a Reform temple in West Chester. We shared this vision with other unaffiliated Jews in the West Chester area, and were overwhelmed by the positive response."
